My gif shows the SMPTE colour bars as the switch between original colours to a different version. As the colours switch the word “warning” is shown spelt out until its is fully spelt out, then the same word is shown in a bigger font before starting over. My artistic aesthetic tends to revolve around dark twists on the imagination. I'm drawn to surrealism with dark or disturbing imagery and also interested in seeing how certain images have differing reactions once the context is changed. When creating my gif I wanted to explore the topics on media and it’s impact on our lives while also timing it back to my aesthetic, by doing this my gif shows the initial reaction to when media has been cut off.
